Here are a few handy hints and tips if you're looking to dominate the battlefield, while also bringing home the cash for those all-important upgrades. Demetrios - the big cynical adventure crack torrent.
- Don't obscure the screen too much with taps while wandering into a new area (it can make it hard to see camouflaged enemies), but when you're in a firefight don't stand still for a second. Always keep your squad moving away from the enemy fire. Once you've engaged an enemy, get out of range of their return fire as quickly possible, and be ready to move again once they've got their sights back on you.
- Kiting skills can be very useful indeed if your squad is running low on health. Once you have the attention of the enemy, pull them back to an area you've already cleared, and take pot-shots at them as and when it's safe to do so. If you've invested in some ranged upgrades for your weaponry, you'll find this a very useful method of staying alive if you're near the end of a mission but struggling to survive.
- In the time-based missions, you have to ensure you manage a balance between gathering the ranged weaponry you'll likely need to destroy the mission object, while also making sure you actually finish before the timer expires. It's well worth taking a quick dry-run at these missions, exploring the hidden sections of the map to learn where the essential weaponry is stored in relation to your ultimate objective.
- Be extremely careful when taking part in the vehicle missions. If you encounter a cluster of enemies and you have a decent health bar, throwing grenades around can cause more trouble than it's worth. We failed plenty of missions by launching a ranged attack, only to have our tank automatically drive straight into the path of the explosion!
- In the survival missions, where you simply have to stay alive long enough to see off the invading threat, resist the temptation to pick up health packs too quickly. If your squad members have more than half of their health, don't grab these rare power-ups until you're really in need of them - otherwise the benefit will go to waste, and these missions only get more challenging as time goes on.
- Need more money in the game? If you don't want to spend real money in the in-app purchase store, we recommend grinding a few of the vehicle-based missions. It's very easy to rack up kill combos in these missions - just make sure you don't waste firing opportunities on weakened enemies, and make sure you tap onto a new enemy as soon as the previous one's gone down.
- Once you've mastered a mission and you understand its objectives thoroughly, we definitely recommend heading straight back in to make sure you've gathered up every last dog tag and medal while the layout's fresh in your mind. This is a particularly good idea after you've played a timed mission, and have some understanding of how much extra time you have to play with in order to grab those extra goodies.

- It makes sense to keep your defensive and offensive capabilities leveled up evenly in tandem with one another. If you have the cash and medals to prioritize, we recommend increasing your squad's movement speed and firing-range first and foremost, so that even while you're offensively weak you can still take on even the trickiest of firefights.
